Gluecom Ace History

Ace Adhesives was formed in 1986 by two former employees of Alfred Adams & Co. In 1987, the company launched jelly glues into the UK market, and within two years had become a significant supplier in the UK, particularly for bookbinding applications.

The business expanded to include PVA and VAE dispersions alongside jelly glue products. Gluecom Demcopack purchased Ace in 2004, bringing UK manufacturing expertise into the developing group structure.

Today, Gluecom Ace operates three UK sites providing comprehensive coverage and maintaining strong customer relationships built over nearly four decades in the UK adhesives market.
