Decoration & Painting

Wall coverings come in all sorts – glass fabric, textile, linen, felt, paper. Each needs a different approach. Synthetic resin dispersion adhesives work across most substrates (concrete, plaster, drywall, wood, particle board) and give you enough working time to position and smooth out the covering.

The trick is getting good adhesion without the glue soaking through decorative fabrics or causing paper to bubble. You also want enough slip time to line up patterns properly.

Paste for vinyl wallpaper differs from traditional paper paste – vinyls are non-porous so the paste needs different properties. Some wallcoverings need adhesive on the wall, others on the back of the material. Strippable formulations allow future redecoration without damaging wall surfaces, whilst permanent adhesives suit long-term installations where you want maximum bond strength.
