DEMCOPACK DAVIS
Premium protein-based jelly glue systems for luxury packaging, bookbinding, and specialist applications. DEMCOPACK DAVIS formulations combine traditional protein adhesive technology with modern manufacturing standards, delivering sustainable bonding solutions for quality-focused operations.
These warm-application systems provide exceptional penetration into porous substrates, creating strong, durable bonds that reverse with moisture and heat. This reversibility supports restoration work, archive binding, and applications where future disassembly matters.
Manufactured in Belgium at Gluecom Demcopack facilities with protein adhesive expertise, each formulation reflects established jelly glue knowledge. The range serves premium rigid box manufacturing, art book binding, puzzle production, and luxury packaging where quality and environmental credentials count.
Complete biodegradability from renewable protein sources makes these systems ideal for operations prioritising sustainability. Natural raw materials mean minimal environmental impact throughout production and disposal.
DEMCOPACK DAVIS History
Gluecom Demcopack was established in 1979 in Lokeren, Belgium. Originally founded as a joint venture between a local enterprise and a US company, the operation became fully independent in 1985.
The facility specialises in protein-based jelly glue manufacturing, with expertise spanning Belgium and the USA. The acquisition of Fritz Häcker’s PLAKAL operations created a global presence in jelly glue manufacturing.
Today, Gluecom’s DEMCOPACK DAVIS products reach over 80 countries, serving luxury packaging manufacturers, bookbinders, and specialist operations requiring protein adhesives.
