Tapes, Labels & Graphic Films

Labels and tapes cover an enormous range. Product labels, shipping labels, security tapes, protective tapes, double-sided tapes, vehicle graphics, architectural films. Temporary or permanent, visible or invisible, paper or plastic – each needs different adhesive properties.

Surface type matters (glass, plastic, metal, cardboard all behave differently). Environment matters (indoor, outdoor, hot, cold, wet). Duration matters (temporary promotions versus permanent identification). The adhesive chemistry changes for each combination.

The adhesive needs to release cleanly from the liner, stick immediately to target surfaces, and maintain bond strength over time. Production involves coating backing materials with precise adhesive weights – too much and the label won’t release from the liner, too little and it won’t stick properly. Pattern coating versus full coverage affects final performance. Die-cutting requires adhesives that won’t gum up cutting tools whilst still performing on the finished product.
