AQUAPAL 559 is a high-performance adhesive for very high-speed core winding operations producing 2-3 ply spiral wound cores. This VAE formulation delivers very high initial tack for demanding production lines.
AQUAPAL 559 is a high-performance adhesive for very high-speed core winding operations producing 2-3 ply spiral wound cores. This VAE formulation delivers very high initial tack for demanding production lines.
AQUAPAL 559 enables manufacturers to run core winding operations at maximum speeds whilst maintaining bond quality.
This adhesive performs reliably on very high-speed winding equipment where standard products fail. The formulation keeps pace with fast production lines, maximising equipment utilisation.
Specifically engineered for 2-3 ply spiral wound core construction, this adhesive handles the unique stresses of spiral winding. The bonding characteristics match the requirements of this manufacturing method.
The very high initial tack provides almost immediate bonding, allowing cores to move through production without delay. This characteristic is needed at very high speeds where contact time is extremely limited.
AQUAPAL 559 is a vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) copolymer adhesive formulated for very high-speed core winding operations. The product excels in 2-3 ply spiral wound core production where conventional PVA adhesives cannot match production speeds. The VAE chemistry provides superior initial tack whilst maintaining excellent final bond strength. A high solids content ensures strong adhesion without excessive application rates. This adhesive is non-harmful and bio-friendly, supporting sustainable manufacturing practices. Applications include high-speed production of toilet paper rolls, kitchen rolls, paper towel cores and industrial tubes where maximum production rates are needed.

This water-based VAE adhesive is non-harmful under normal operating conditions. Use appropriate protective equipment including gloves and safety glasses. Maintain good ventilation in application areas. Avoid contact with eyes and prevent ingestion. If eye contact occurs, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical advice if irritation continues. Wash any skin contact thoroughly with soap and water.
Agitate before use to ensure uniform consistency. Very high-speed applications require precise temperature control and machine settings – contact technical support for application-specific guidance. Clean equipment with water immediately after use. Technical assistance is available for production optimisation and troubleshooting.
